Trichocereus bridgesii monstrose aka “Penis Plant” is a clustering monstrous cactus with prostrate growth habit, branching at the base and slowly growing up to 2 feet tall. The plant develops numerous cucumber shapes with long spines about two to three inches wide and six to ten inches long. The stems are a light glaucous green with only a few spiny areoles in the basal portion. The upper part of the stem is a smooth cylinder, the lower part can be spiny and is often ribbed.
