iPhone vs. Mac for casting

Lately I’ve been switching between my Mac and iPhone depending on what I’m watching, and I keep noticing that mirroring doesn’t behave the same way on every TV. On some models the Mac connects instantly, but on others it refuses to show anything unless I restart the whole system. Meanwhile the iPhone seems to connect quickly almost everywhere, but sometimes the quality dips. Curious how it works for other people — is one generally more reliable for you, or is it all about the TV brand?

From what I’ve seen, the TV brand makes a huge difference, but the iPhone usually gives me fewer surprises than the Mac. I used to rely only on AirPlay, but once I started traveling and using different TVs, I switched to an app I originally downloaded for iOS to TV screen casting . It handles both devices, but the iPhone definitely connects smoother, especially when the Wi-Fi isn’t perfect. The Mac sometimes needs a reboot or reconnecting the network, while the phone just picks it up right away.
